One of the odd things to come up during the campaign is Bobby. Whenever we go out to campaign, we are constantly asked if Bobby will run. Some people are holding out for him. I wish they wouldn’t. He’s said that he isn’t running, but everyone still begs him.
I hope he doesn’t run. He shouldn’t because he doesn’t have the courage. I would be working with his campaign if he chose to run earlier. But in the end, I’m glad he isn’t running. He’s too scared to run.
He’s going to wait until 1972 when the timing is good for him. It’s only about him, in his mind. What does that tell you about the man?
