I'd like to thank Kathy Axelrod, my Mom, for letting me use pictures of my Grandmother. We called her Nana. She died a year ago at the age of 95.
Nana encouraged, supported and in many ways inspired many of my writing projects. I know that she would've been thrilled to be a part of this project, playing the role of Mrs. Stoutmiller. In this picture, Annabelle is played by my Mom.
For the record, Nana was a registered Independent, but certainly loved FDR.
